As part of the 150th anniversary celebrations of Université La Sagesse, a special alumni gathering was held on Thursday, May 22, in Doha, Qatar.

The event was attended by Université La Sagesse President Professor Georges Nehme, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rayan Haykal, and Director of the Office of Alumni Relations Mrs. Joanne Doumit.

Hosted by Université La Sagesse and organized by Mr. Jad Sakr, the dinner took place at Bebabel – Saint Regis Doha and brought together ULS alumni currently based in Qatar. The occasion also marked the official launch of the ULS Alumni Qatar Chapter.

Mr. Sakr, a 2014 graduate of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management and Multi-Property Account Director at Marriott International Doha, now serves as Chapter President.

This successful initiative reflects ULS’s commitment to reconnecting with its alumni and building a strong, supportive global network. The ULS Alumni Qatar Chapter is the first of many steps toward strengthening ties with graduates worldwide, with similar events planned in Lebanon and beyond.
