Siblings
Aid

Siblings attending Université La Sagesse at the same semester are entitled to a discount ranging between 10% and 15%.

Student Work
Policy

Student work at Université La Sagesse provides both financial returns and a valuable learning experience. Students receive a tuition fee deduction equivalent to the hours worked, with no impact on their financial aid or scholarships. Opportunities include clerical work, events, teaching assistance, research and more…

La Sagesse Schools
Policy

In solidarity with La Sagesse Schools, Université La Sagesse offers a 30% deduction to lifetime students of La Sagesse Schools graduates that are affiliated with the Maronite Archdiocese of Beirut, and a 25% deduction to non-graduating students who spent a minimum of 10 years, and/or, graduating students who spent at least 3 years. Incoming students receive this scholarship in their first year, after which they can explore other financial aid options.

Policy

Université La Sagesse, founded by the Maronite Archdiocese, adheres to the Archdiocese’s Protocol, outlining aid for those in social, educational, and ecclesial institutions.
Decreed annually by the Chancellor, the protocol covers both undergraduate and graduate programs. Faculty and administrative staff benefits are detailed in the university faculty status and presidential decisions.

Université La Sagesse engages in signed protocols aligning with its social responsibility and Catholic social teaching. Rooted in the principles of solidarity and subsidiarity , these protocols support various segments, such as Armed forces and Security institutions. Protocols evolve annually to benefit larger segments of society.

The Financial Support Application Process

01. Application Submission

Students requesting financial aid and scholarship are requested to submit an application within the deadlines set by Université La Sagesse and renewed every semester by submitting a new one to the Office of Financial Aid.

Missing information or documents would lead to disqualified applications.
It is the duty of every applicant to ensure the information provided are truthful and accurate.
Dishonest and misleading information if intentional would lead to barring from current and future aid, and potentially further disciplinary action.

02. Review and Selection

Applications will be fairly processed based on a meticulous review, considering financial need, academic performance, and other pertinent criteria.The review relies on the information available in the application, the supporting documentation presented and field visits when needed.

03. Notification

Approved applications receive a notification outlining their financial support package, detailing the type and percentage of coverage. Inadmissible applications will receive a rejection notice.

The Statement of the Declared Salary from the employer and the Deducted Taxes for both the student and their parents

The Statement of the Declared Amounts to the Ministry of Finance as income earners for both the student and their parents
(from the competent financial unit at the Ministry of Finance)If it is not possible to obtain these documents, you may visit the Student Affairs Office to arrange for suitable alternatives

اذا تعذر تأمين هذه المستندات يمكن مراجعة مكتب شؤون الطلاب لتعيين بديل مناسب

The Comprehensive Ownership Denial for both the student and their parents – for all Mouhafazat (from the Ministry of Finance – Real Estate Directorate in Beirut)

Before heading to the Ministry of Finance to apply for the ownership denial certificate for the student, obtain a registration certificate from the university’s registration office to receive a 50% discount on the application fee

Applied for once only and used throughout the subsequent academic years

نفي ملكية شاملة لكل من الطالب ووالديه -لكافة المحافظات
(من وزارة المالية – مديرية العقارية في بيروت)

قبل التوجه الى وزارة المالية لتقديم طلب افادة نفي ملكية على الطالب الاستحصال على افادة تسجيل من الجامعة من مكتب التسجيل للحصول على حسم 50% من رسم الطلب

تقدم لمرة واحدة فقط وتستخدم نفسها على مدار السنوات الدراسية اللاحقة

The Copy of all the Vehicles Registration Documents belonging to the students or their family (Motor Vehicle License)صور عن دفاتر السيارات العائدة للطالب او لأهله

The Mobility Certificate obtained from the local General Security Center, along with the receipt

Applied for once only and used throughout the subsequent academic years

In case of divorce, the Court Ruling that determines the responsibilities of each parentفي حال الطلاق حكم المحكمة الذي يحدد مسؤوليات كل من الوالدين
