Petition Submissions

The Registrar’s Office provides a single downloadable PDF form for all types of petitions.
This form allows students to request various changes or accommodations by selecting the appropriate petition type.

Available Petition Types:

  • Change of Major: Request to switch to a different major within the university.
  • Late Change of Grade: Petition to modify a grade after the standard deadline has passed.
  • Course Substitution: Apply to substitute one course for another within a degree program.
  • Course Overload: Request permission to enroll in more courses than typically allowed in a semester.
  • Late Withdrawal: Petition to withdraw from a course after the official withdrawal period has ended.
  • Late Registration: Request to register for courses after the registration deadline.
  • Late Drop/Add: Apply to add or drop a course after the add/drop period has closed.
  • Readmission: Petition for readmission to the university after a period of absence or dismissal.
  • Change of Language: Request to change the language of instruction.
  • Other: For any additional requests not listed above, please use this petition.

How to Submit a Petition:

  1. Download the PDF form and select the appropriate petition type.
  2. Complete the form with the necessary details.
  3. Send the completed form to the Registrar’s Office via email: petitions@uls.edu.lb

Certification Requests

To request academic certifications, such as transcripts or degree confirmations, please use the online certification request form provided below.
This form allows you to specify the type of certification you need and ensures that all necessary details are collected for processing your request.
