On October 28, the ULS community came together for a meaningful and interactive Breast Cancer Awareness Event jointly organized by the Office of Marketing and CSR, the Faculty of Public Health, and the Office of Human Resources, in the presence of ULS President Prof. Joseph Saab.With prevention and early detection at the heart of the event, the day featured an interactive awareness stand hosted by the Faculty of Public Health and a symbolic group photo uniting the ULS community in pink alongside Prof. Joseph Saab. The event continued with an insightful panel discussion by Dr. Hampig Raphael Kourie, HematoOncologist and Oncogeneticist at Hôtel-Dieu de France, and an inspiring testimonial from breast cancer survivor Rita Bechara, who shared her personal journey of courage and resilience.
At Université La Sagesse, Pink October is more than a color. It’s a reminder that awareness matters, early detection saves lives, and together, we can make a difference.
