On the occasion of World Physical Therapy Day, the physiotherapy department of the faculty of public health at Université La Sagesse brought together students, faculty, and experts to celebrate a profession dedicated to movement, recovery, independence, and a better quality of life.
The event was held in the presence of Professor Joseph Saab, President of Université La Sagesse; Dr. Charles Morkos, President of the Order of Physiotherapists in Lebanon; and Professor Diala El Khoury, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, alongside the chair of the physiotherapy department, faculty members and students.
The celebration was followed by a conference dedicated to PEDro – Physiotherapy Evidence Database, highlighting the importance of evidence-based practice in advancing the physiotherapy profession. The conference was led by PEDro representatives in Lebanon, Dr. Gergi Antoun, Dr. Pierre Khazen, and Dr. Jana Hamza.
A day of movement, knowledge, and shared expertise – connecting future physiotherapists with the latest developments in their field.
Today, we celebrate the profession. Tomorrow, our students help move it forward.
