This year marks the 150th jubilee of the foundation of Université La Sagesse (ULS). We celebrate 150 years of wisdom, excellence, and shared success, and we honor not only our rich history but the deep connections that bind students, faculty, and alumni across generations. Founded in 1875 by the Maronite Archdiocese of Beirut, ULS has been more than just a haven of education; it is a guiding light of progress, a pillar of justice, and a bridge between cultures. The values of wisdom, freedom, and human dignity have shaped countless leaders across Lebanon, the Middle East, and beyond. Today, as we mark this milestone, we celebrate you “our alumni” who carry these values into the world and make a difference every day.

ULS continues to evolve, embracing innovation while staying true to its mission. We have strengthened our institutional foundations with modern governance, new policies, and a resolute commitment to academic excellence. Our efforts have been recognized through European accreditations from FIBAA for the programs of the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, and we are on track to achieve institutional accreditation by 2025.
These milestones affirm our place among leading universities and reflect our dedication to quality education. Yet, our greatest achievement is you. Your success is the truest measure of our impact.
Whether in Lebanon or across the globe, the contributions of our alumni inspire us and strengthen our reputation. You are the living legacy of Université La Sagesse.
