Job Title / Responsibilities

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics and currently serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Université La Sagesse. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from Paris-Dauphine University and bring over 16 years of experience in both academic and administrative roles in Lebanese Higher Education institutions.

In my current position, I oversee both the strategic direction and the day-to-day management of the programs offered at the Faculty. My responsibilities encompass a wide array of tasks including strategic planning, coordination among department chairpersons and ensuring the overall excellence of the curriculum. This includes identifying opportunities for program development, fostering innovation and enhancing the overall educational experience for our students. In collaboration with faculty members, I lead efforts in curriculum development and in getting new accreditations for our programs, ensuring they meet industry standards, reflect emerging trends and fulfill rigorous academic requirements. I also take initiatives to build new national and international cooperation and partnerships to strengthen and develop the programs offered at the faculty.
