Job Title / Responsibilities

Roy Abi Zeid Daou is a Full Professor of Mechatronics Engineering at Université La Sagesse, where he also serves as Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department. He holds an HDR in Control Systems and Biomedical Instrumentation from Bordeaux University, and a PhD in Automatic Control from Bordeaux I University. His research focuses on biomedical instrumentation, fractional control systems, and robotics, and is carried out in collaboration with institutions across Europe, including the University of Bordeaux, University of Kassel, and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. He currently chairs the IEEE Lebanon Joint Chapter of Robotics, Control, and Instrumentation and serves as Vice Chair of IFAC Lebanon AMO. His work bridges academic research, industry consultancy, and international cooperation.
