Centre d'Analyse des Différends et leurs Modes de Solutions (CADMOS)

Identity:

The Center of Disputes Analysis and their Methods of Solutions (CADMOS) is a Research Laboratory, which is part of the international studies college, a team recognized by the ministry for research. It gathers a dozen French and international research directors and about fifteen doctorate degree students.

Mission:

To develop the spirit and practice the resolution of the disputes according to a realistic approach founded on ethics.

A Research:
On the theories and the concepts with projects carried out on the ground to develop the necessary tools of negotiation.

A methodology:

For 10 years, an annual simulation of 400 hours has made it possible for the Master of Diplomacy students to prepare the file of the country which they represent in workshops and with the assistance of the diplomatic and administrative network before closing their work by a large conference. Each student processes the primary and secondary data, reconstitutes the position of his/her "country", creates a bank of data divided among his/her colleagues; defines his/her strategy of approach and applies its step during eight weeks of negotiation before closing the work in a final conference.
