The Faculty of Public Health organized in collaboration with Waterbear team a workshop entitled “Posture: From Static to Dynamic” on February 7, 2022. The workshop was offered to the senior students of the physiotherapy department. Dean Diala El Khoury welcomed all participants and reminded them about the importance of critical thinking and being up to date in their field. She also thanked Dr. Nour El Khazen, DPT and Mr. Ralph Nseir co-founders of Waterbear for their collaboration in inspiring and motivating students in understanding postural problems and applying neuromuscular activation as an active approach to solve them. Participants were then divided thru out the day into 4 teams and guided by several expert physical therapists in different workshops:

 

- Posture types and muscular analysis

- Posture and movement analysis using 3D scan

- Walking posture analysis using a gyroscope

- Neuromuscular activation for posture correction

 

A certificate of attendance was delivered upon the completion of the workshop.
