The ULS participated for the first time at the annual meeting of the ACCU (Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities), held in Washington DC from January 30 to February 4, 2015.
New member of the association grouping 250 establishments since June 2014, the ULS was represented at the meeting, which was attended by over 400 participants by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Dr Bernadette Abi-Saleh.
This meeting was entitled "Bold Vision, Courageous Voices: Forming a New Generation" and was opened by an inaugural Mass led by His Eminence Archbishop of Washington DC, Cardinal Donald Wuerl. The opening speech was delivered by the President of the ACCU, Dr. Michael Galligan-Stierle.
