Part of our weekly “Guest Speaker” activity, Mrs. Dagmar Symes, Kempinski's General Manager, visited our faculty last week on the 20th of March.
Mrs. Symes had been welcomed by Dr. Kassis and Mr. Nehme. She did a faculty tour and had lunch at “Le Cenacle Restaurant”. Afterwards, Mrs. Symes held a presentation for our students that delivered rich information about the hotel management field and how they can effectively use their learning experience for a long term productive business.
On the other hand, it should be noted that the Kempinski Hotel is Europe's oldest luxury hotel group. It was founded in Berlin - Germany back in 1897 as the Hotelbetriebs – Aktiengesellschaft.
