As a part of the Understanding the Environment course, the faculty invites speakers to come and discuss real life industry experience.
In December 2020, the General Manager of the Kempinski Summerland Hotel and Resort Beirut, Mr. Mark Timbrell, was invited to conduct an online session (due to the current situation) for the first year students.
Mr. Timbrell first spoke about the Kempinski chain, explaining why it is one of the top hotel chains worldwide and elaborated on its mission and standards. He also shared his extensive experience in hospitality, discussed industry trends, and spoke positively about the future of the industry in Lebanon.
The session concluded with an active Q&A from the students.
