The Faculty of Public Health - ULS took part in the first Lebanese German Forum: Health Innovations & Artificial Intelligence organized by the Lebanese German Business Council on November 25, 2022, at the Intercontinental Phoenicia Beirut.

The event was held under the patronage of the German Embassy in Lebanon and with the support of the GHA - German Health Alliance and the Ghorfa Arab - German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Department of Nursing (represented by the head of department and the simulation laboratory expert) actively promoted how innovation in learning approaches can improve healthcare practitioners’ skills and patient safety, in the presence of the acting Lebanese Minister of Public Health, the German and the Dutch Ambassadors as well as experts in healthcare.

Two of our alumni and faculty members presented a project featuring a medicine dispenser box and were selected to discuss it during the Startup Health Competition.

The Dean of the Faculty of Public Health participated in a private roundtable discussion on the Lebanese – German cooperation in Healthcare Innovation. Recommendations regarding the Lebanese healthcare system, E-Health, and Education were shared.
