As a part of the Understanding the Environment course, the faculty invites speakers to come and discuss real life industry experience.
In May of 2021, the Director of Group Talent and Communication at Alvest, Mr. Yves Crespel, was invited by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Tanios Kassis, to conduct an online session for the first year students.
During the session, he spoke about parahospitality, the aviation industry, and the imminent future of the business after COVID-19. According to Mr. Crespel, SFTHM graduates are excellent candidates for employment in aviation because it is a division of hospitality management. They are looking for individuals with a passion for the industry, have high EI (emotional intelligence) levels, and know how to work successfully in multi-cultural environments.
