As part of the curriculum for the tourism course, the second year students went on a site visit to the 2,000 year old ancient ruins of Baalbek. Led by their instructor, Ms. Carine Hattouni, the group toured the temple complex which was inscribed in 1984 as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
After the guided visit, the group continued to Anjar to visit the 8th century Umayyad ruins.
Upon conclusion of the visit, the students enjoyed an authentic lunch at a traditional Lebanese restaurant near the sites.
