On Thursday, June 9, 2016, the Sagesse Faculty of Hospitality Management hosted the live radio show, Voice of Free Lebanon. The Minister of Tourism, Mr. Michel Pharaon, the President of the Syndicate of Hotel Owners in Lebanon, Mr. Pierre Al Achkar, Dr. Tanios Kassis, Dean of the SFHM, and Ms. Rima Khaddaj Hamadeh, the Voice of Lebanon host, were the members of the panel.
In attendance were the President of Sagesse University, Father Khalil Chalfoun, administration, faculty members, students, alumni, and members of the press.
The panel discussed the latest trends in tourism and the industry challenges in Lebanon. In addition, the panel fielded a variety of questions from the audience regarding the economy, opportunities for hospitality graduates, and the future of Lebanese tourism.
