DESCRIPTION:On December 3\, 2024\, Université La Sagesse proudly celebrated the participants of the Defensive Driving Basics – DDB program during a ceremony. Organized by the Adel Metni Foundation in partnership with the Center for Continuing Education at Université La Sagesse\, this initiative underscored the university’s commitment to road safety and the enhancement of practical skills among its students and collaborators. \n \nThe ceremony began with a speech by President Professor Georges N. Nehme\, followed by a speech from Mr. Metni\, representative of the Adel Metni Foundation. During his speech\, he showed a video from the training. Representatives from IMPEX and Advanced Car Rentals also shared their words. \n \nCertificates were presented to the participants in recognition of their participation. The program’s valued partners\, IMPEX and Advanced Car Rentals\, also received certificates of appreciation for their contributions to this initiative.

DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, December 5th\, the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony happened at Université La Sagesse. It brought together students\, faculty members\, and staff in the Main Hall for a joyful start to the Christmas season. \nThe event started with a prayer prepared and conducted by Chaplain Fr. Joseph Nayel\, accompanied by Christmas chants sung by Marianne Saïd\, giving everyone a chance to reflect and connect. The highlight of the event was the lighting of the Christmas tree\, which created a warm\, festive atmosphere. \nAfter lighting the tree\, the President\, Professor Georges N. Nehme shared a few words with the audience. \nAs part of the celebration of Saint Barbara\, participants enjoyed the traditional eating of wheat\, prepared by the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management. This added a meaningful cultural element to the event. \nThis occasion brought the community together\, setting the tone for a joyful holiday season. \n  \n    \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:On the 19th of December\, Université La Sagesse held the Christmas Mass\, bringing together the faculty and the administrative staff\, and the students. \n \nMonsignor Boulos Abdul Sater\, Maronite Archbishop of Beirut and Chancellor of Université La Sagesse\, was represented by Monsignor Pierre Abi Saleh\, officiated the Mass. \n \nFollowing the Mass\, Professor Georges N. Nehme\, President of Université La Sagesse\, addressed the attendees. In his word\, President Nehme extended his Christmas greetings to the university community. He also expressed his gratitude for the dedication and hard work of the employees\, offering words of encouragement as the university looks ahead to the coming year. \n \nAfter his word\, Mrs. Marianne Said performed a selection of Christmas chants\, adding a melodious touch to the celebration. \n \nThe event concluded with a festive gathering. It was an opportunity for the university community to celebrate together.
