DESCRIPTION:  \nUniversité La Sagesse inaugurated the fifteenth edition of the Inter-University Program on International Criminal Law and Procedure (IUP)\, with the participation of 260 students from twelve higher education institutions in Lebanon\, Palestine\, Jordan\, Iraq\, and Egypt. The program includes specialized lectures delivered online by experts in international criminal law\, through cooperation between the T.M.C. Asser Instituut\, the non-governmental organization IUSTICOM\, and the Human Rights Legal Clinic at the Faculty of Law of La Sagesse University\, with support from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. \nIn his opening address\, the Dean of the Faculty of Law at Université La Sagesse\, Dr. Chadi Saad\, stressed that the broad participation in the program reflects the importance of international criminal justice at a time when accountability is in decline. He reaffirmed Université La Sagesse’s ongoing commitment to promoting awareness of the rule of law and human rights\, emphasizing the importance of education in this field as it contributes to the development of critical thinking and the protection of victims’ rights. \nChristophe Paulussen\, senior researcher at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut\, has coordinated the programme from the onset on behalf of the Asser Institute. Paulussen: “The IUP was one of my first projects when I started at Asser and now\, 15 years later\, it’s still alive and kicking\, and very close to my heart. To assist in making a meaningful impact in a region that has suffered\, and is still suffering\, so much\, and to see the resilience of the students\, is extremely rewarding. I am honoured to contribute and grateful to everyone who has made the IUP possible.” \nDr. Hans-Jörg Dietz\, Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation\, pointed out that justice should not be confined to those who possess power and influence\, stressing the need to develop accountability\, especially at times when the law is constantly being put to the test. He expressed his appreciation for encouraging students to engage in a program that promotes the principle of international justice\, and noted that the Foundation is exploring the possibility of organizing a study tour to The Hague for successful students. \nSubsequently\, Olga Kavran of IUSTICOM\, one of the co-founders of the programme\, says: “Seeing so many young people interested in this program truly gives me hope. This is particularly important because we live in a time of deep contradictions\, when justice is widely invoked while the rule of law\, as we have come to know it\, is systematically destroyed. It is important because human progress is not linear; it advances\, retreats\, and advances again\, and it is younger generations\, just like in some previous times\, who will hopefully restore real and meaningful justice and the rule of law.” She encouraged students to broaden their horizons\, saying: “You are here to affirm that you can contribute and persevere to make change and make the world a better place for everyone.” \n  \nOverview of the program\, its objectives\, and participating students \nThe Director of the Legal Clinic at Université La Sagesse\, Ms. Reina Sfeir\, noted that the growing number of participating students confirms the importance and impact of the program\, particularly as it bridges legal knowledge with lived reality. She explained that the program includes 17 sessions and a final examination\, upon which students receive a certificate signed by the partner institutions. \nParticipants in this fifteenth edition of the Inter-University Program come from twelve universities in five Arab countries as follows: \n\nFrom Lebanon: the Lebanese University\, Université La Sagesse\, the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik\, and the Islamic University;\nFrom Palestine: Hebron University\, Birzeit University\, and An-Najah National University;\nFrom Jordan: Petra University;\nFrom Egypt: Ain Shams University and Alexandria University;\nFrom Iraq: the University of Basra and the University of Mosul.\n\nThe program was launched in 2011 by the Asser Instituut and the Outreach Unit of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon (STL)\, at a time when no specialization in international criminal law was offered at any Lebanese university\, making the Inter-University Program (IUP) the first of its kind and a precedent in the Middle East and North Africa region. \nFollowing the withdrawal of the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in 2020\, the program continued to be implemented by the Asser Instituut and the International and Transitional Justice Resource Center (ITJRC). \nIn 2022\, La Sagesse University and IUSTICOM joined as partners in the consortium managing the program. \nTo date\, more than 2\,700 students across the Middle East and North Africa have graduated from the program\, contributing to the preparation of a generation of regional experts specialized in international criminal law matters. \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:لقاء جامع حول نسب يسوع وصلاة المزامير في جامعة الحكمة \nفي إطار مؤتمر الأيام البيبلية وأسبوع الكتاب المقدس، إستضافت كلية العلوم الدينية واللاهوتية في جامعة الحكمة لقاء جامعًا حول محاضرتين، الأولى للمطران الدكتور أنطوان عوكر حول “نسب يسوع في إنجيل متى: محطة مفصلية بين العهدين”، والثانية للأب سمير بشارة حول “كتاب المزامير: هل من قراءة مسيحية ممكنة؟”، بحضور عميد كلية العلوم الدينية واللاهوتية في جامعة الحكمة الخوري طانيوس خليل وحشد من المتخصصين باللاهوت وكهنة وراهبات وطلاب. \n لفت المطران الدكتور أنطوان عوكر في محاضرته إلى أن إنجيل متى أظهر في نسب يسوع المحطة المفصلية التي يربط بين العهدين القديم والجديد، وقد اختار متى “ابراهيم” و”داود” ليعرض نسب يسوع لأنهما الشخصان الوحيدان في العهد القديم اللذان كانت علاقة الله معهما وعدًا مجانيًا، فأراد أن يظهر أن يسوع أتى بعهد جديد وولادة جديدة ليصنع وعدًا جديدًا بالخلاص بعطاء مجاني من دون مقابل. ولفت المطران عوكر إلى أنه مع نسب يسوع حصل الإنتقال من المستوى اللحمي الدموي إلى المستوى الإيماني الروحي حيث صار النسب إلى يسوع غير مرتبط بالجسد بل الروح والإيمان. \nوفي المحاضرة حول المزامير، قال الأب بشارة إنها “مغامرة يومية تعلّم على الصلاة”. وأوضح أن معظم المزامير تشير إلى أحداث من الماضي لكنه ماض مصوغ باللاهوت والصلاة، يعبّر عنه الشعر الديني، ما يجعل المزامير تعبيرًا شعريًا لاختبار ديني، ولكنها ليست شعرًا وحسب بل إنها نتيجة اختبار يتخطّى الزمان والثقافات. \nأضاف الأب بشارة أن المزامير صلاة إنسانية وواقعية ودراماتيكية وبيبلية وكنسية، وقد صلّى يسوع المزامير لذلك تجسّد المزامير الذاكرة التاريخية لحياة يسوع، وعندما نصلّي المزامير، نصلّي في الواقع يسوع بالذات، فالإنسانية والواقعية والدراما التي نجدها في المزامير نجدها في الواقع في حياة يسوع. \n  \n \n \n \n

DESCRIPTION:جامعة الحكمة تستضيف بطولة لبنان لمهارات مايكروسوفت 2026 بالشراكة مع مؤسسة مخزومي و ITLS\nالبروفسور نعمة: مهتمون بدعم الإبتكار والتميز وتزويد الطلاب بكل المؤهلات الممكنة \nوقع رئيس جامعة الحكمة البروفسور جورج نعمة مذكرة تفاهم مع شركة ITLS (Information Technology Leading Services) ممثلة بمديرها العام السيد طارق الباشا بالشراكة مع مؤسسة مخزومي ممثلة برئيستها السيدة مي مخزومي، تستضيف بموجبها الجامعة بطولة لبنان لمهارات مايكروسوفت 2026 بدءًا من إطلاقها إلى تنظيم الإمتحانات النهائية والحفل الختامي في شهر أيار المقبل، على أن يتأهل الفائزون للمشاركة في البطولة العالمية التي ستتم في الصيف المقبل في كاليفورنيا في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية، علمًا بأن المشاركة في البطولة لن تقتصر على طلاب جامعة الحكمة بل هي مفتوحة لطلاب مختلف الجامعات كما المدارس لإعطاء فرصة واسعة لتنمية المهارات والمشاركة في البطولة العالمية. \nجاء ذلك في الحرم الرئيسي للجامعة في فرن الشباك بحضور أعضاء مجلس الجامعة وفريق عمل كل من مؤسسة مخزومي وشركة ITLS. \nأكد رئيس الجامعة البروفسور جورج نعمة أن استضافة الجامعة لبطولة مايكروسوفت تأتي في سياق رسالتها التعليمية القائمة على تزويد الطلاب بكل المؤهلات الضرورية والممكنة ولا سيما التكنولوجية التي أصبحت جزءًا أساسيًا من التعليم العالي. أضاف البروفسور نعمة أن الجامعة تولي اهتمامًا خاصًا لدعم الإبتكار والتميز خصوصًا أن الثروة البشرية ولا سيما الشبابية هي الرأسمال الفعلي للبنان والرافعة الحقيقية للإقتصاد الوطني والمجتمع اللبناني؛ وتابع أن جامعة الحكمة لا تألو جهدًا في تقديم الفرص للطلاب ليبرعوا في مسارهم الأكاديمي ويبرزوا على المستوى المهني في لبنان والخارج. \nبدورها أبدت السيدة مي مخزومي ثقتها بالجيل الجديد وما لديه من طاقة، مضيفة أن بطولة مايكروسوفت تلعب دورًا أساسيًا في مواءمة هذه الطاقة مع التطور التكنولوجي المتسارع، والذي ينعكس على البطولة من خلال إدخال تقنيات الذكاء الإصطناعي إلى برامجها. وشكرت السيدة مخزومي جامعة الحكمة على التعاون مؤكدة أن مواكبة المؤسسات الأكاديمية للتطورات المتسارعة في مجال التكنولوجيا يشكل دعمًا أساسيًا للطلاب في الإعداد لمستقبلهم. \nكذلك أوضح السيد طارق الباشا أن شركة ITLS الشريك العالمي لمايكروسوفت في مجال التعليم تهدف إلى دمج التكنولوجيا في التعليم دعمًا لتحقيق الهدف الرابع من أهداف التنمية المستدامة والمتمثل في ضمان تعليم جيد شامل وعادل وتعزيز فرص التعلّم مدى الحياة للجميع. وأوضح أن الشركة تقوم منذ العام 2018 بالشراكة مع مؤسسة مخزومي وبالتعاون مع مؤسسات أكاديمية لاستضافة بطولة مايكروسوفت، منوهًا بشكل خاص باهتمام جامعة الحكمة بتسليح الطلاب بالمهارات التكنولوجية. \n  \n  \n\n \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Lors du dîner annuel des chefs d’établissement réunissant ses partenaires éducatifs\, l’Université La Sagesse a célébré son engagement constant en faveur de la qualité\, de l’innovation et de l’accompagnement des étudiants. \nL’événement s’est tenu à la Faculté de Tourisme et de Gestion Hôtelière à Achrafieh\, en présence de Son Excellence Mgr Boulos Abdul Sater\, Archevêque maronite de Beyrouth et Chancelier de l’Université\, ainsi que du Recteur de l’Université\, le Professeur Georges Nehme. \nDans son allocution\, Mgr Abdul Sater a rappelé que l’Université La Sagesse est une « maison bienveillante » pour ses étudiants\, les accompagnant à chaque étape de leur parcours. Nadim Yared et avec le soutien de son équipe\, ce dîner a constitué un moment privilégié d’échange et de reconnaissance envers les partenaires éducatifs de l’Université. \nL’Université La Sagesse confirme ainsi son rôle de pôle d’excellence et d’innovation\, où l’éducation demeure un levier essentiel de justice sociale\, d’égalité et d’avenir pour la jeunesse libanaise. \n  \nL’intégralité des photos de la soirée\, publiées en deux séries distinctes: \n1. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1GcUHAytSi/  \n2. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1AhtZNiLug/ \n  \nعبد الساتر في عشاء تكريمي لشركاء جامعة الحكمة في قطاع التعليم:\n“نشجع طلابنا على البقاء في لبنان والحكمة هي البيت المحب”\nالبروفسور نعمة: 6 اعتمادات وشهادات دولية و14 شراكة مع مؤسسات أكاديمية دولية \nإستضافت جامعة الحكمة عددًا من الشركاء في قطاع التعليم والمؤسسات التعليمية في عشاء تكريمي جامع حضره وليّ الجامعة سيادة راعي أبرشية بيروت للموارنة المطران بولس عبد الساتر، وشكل مناسبة عرض فيها رئيس الجامعة البروفسور جورج نعمة التطور الأكاديمي للجامعة على صعيد البرامج المحدثة والإعتماد وتعزيز الشراكات، على عتبة الإعلان عن الخطة الاستراتيجية للسنوات المقبلة.\nجاء ذلك في حرم كلية السياحة وإدارة الفنادق في الأشرفية الحائزة على الإعتماد من قبل مدرسة لوزان الفندقية (Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne)، التي تحتل المرتبة الأولى على المستوى العالمي في مجال الفندقية. وتولى طلاب الكلية إعداد المناسبة التي نظمها مكتب التوجيه والقبول في جامعة الحكمة بإدارة نديم يارد. \n\nعبد الساتر: “البيت المحب”\nوفي كلمة للمطران عبد الساتر أكد أن جامعة الحكمة هي “البيت المحب للطلاب” حيث يرافقهم العمداء والأساتذة والكادر الإداري في كل مراحل وجودهم فيها.\nأضاف: في لبنان هناك دائمًا تشجيع على السفر. ما نقوله نحن للطالبات والطلاب هو أن يحبوا بلدهم وأن البقاء في الوطن أمر مهم، لأن الإنجازات ممكنة في داخل البلد وليس من الضروري الخروج من البلد للتقدم علميًا أو مجتمعيًا. أما إذا اضطر الطالب للسفر، فليحمل لبنان في قلبه وليعمل من أجله في أي مكان وُجد فيه ولو كان بعيدًا آلاف الأميال. فحينئذ لا يخسر لبنان أبناءه. \n\nنعمة: التميز الأكاديمي في الإعتماد والشراكات\nبدوره، عرض البروفسور جورج نعمة الخطوات التي حققتها جامعة الحكمة في تعزيز التميز المؤسسي. وفي مقدمها الحصول خلال السنوات الثلاث الماضية على ست اعتمادات وشهادات دولية، ما يجعلها في مصاف الجامعات اللبنانية الأكثر إعتمادًا، وذلك وفق ما يلي: \n– اعتماد برامج كلية السياحة وإدارة الفنادق من المدرسة الفندقية في لوزان، المصنفة الأولى عالميًا في مجالها.\n– اعتماد برامج كلية القانون الكنسي من المعهد البابوي الشرقي في روما.\n– اعتماد برامج كلية الحقوق، أقدم كلية حقوق في الشرق الأوسط، من وكالة الاعتماد FIBAA، عضو الشبكة الأوروبية لضمان الجودة ENQA والمدرجة في السجل الأوروبي لضمان الجودة EQAR\n– اعتماد برامج كلية الاقتصاد والإدارة من وكالة FIBAA السابق ذكرها.\n– اعتماد برنامج علوم التمريض في كلية الصحة العامة من الهيئة الفرنسية للتقييم Hcéres\n– الاعتماد المؤسسي لجامعة الحكمة من وكالة ZEvA الألمانية، العضو في الشبكة الأوروبية لضمان الجودة ENQA والمدرجة في السجل الأوروبي لضمان الجودة EQAR \n\nكذلك عدّد رئيس جامعة الحكمة البروفسور نعمة سلسلة خطوات حققت التميز الأكاديمي ومن أبرزها:\n– الشراكات واتفاقيات الدبلوم المزدوج والتنقّل الجامعي مع أربع عشرة مؤسسات ومعاهد أكاديمية دولية مرموقة بما يتيح للطلاب التبادل الأكاديمي والتعاون على أرفع مستوى. وهي التالية: جامعة بوردو، جامعة Lille، جامعة Paris-Nanterre، جامعة لورين، جامعة Lumière Lyon 2، جامعة Jean Moulin Lyon 3، المدرسة الفندقية في لوزان، المعهد البابوي الشرقي في روما، المعهد الكاثوليكي في باريس، الجامعة الكاثوليكية في ليل، الجامعة الكاثوليكية في ليون، معهد ISC باريس، la Rennes School of Business، جامعة della Calabria\n– إنشاء سياسة جديدة للمنح الدراسية مخصصة للطلاب الحاصلين على نتائج أكاديمية متميزة خلال مسيرتهم الثانوية أو في امتحانات البكالوريا الفرنسية واللبنانية الرسمية. ترافق هذه المنح الطلاب طوال مسيرتهم الجامعية حسب معدلهم التراكمي. وبهذا الصدد، استفاد 90 طالبًا في جامعة الحكمة خلال العام الأكاديمي 2024-2025 من منح تغطي بين 75% و100% من رسومهم الدراسية.\n– إرساء نظام دعم مالي يمثل أكثر من 15% من الميزانية السنوية للجامعة بهدف ضمان تكافؤ الفرص للشباب اللبناني. \nوأكد رئيس جامعة الحكمة أن الجامعة ستبقى مركزًا للابتكار حيث يتعاون الطلاب والباحثون في مشاريع المستقبل، وحيث يشكل التعليم وسيلة للوصول إلى العدالة الاجتماعية والمساواة. \n\nيارد: مصلحة الطلاب في الشراكة في التعليم\nوكان مدير مكتب التوجيه والقبول نديم يارد قد رحب بالحضور مؤكدا أهمية الشراكة في قطاع التعليم لتحقيق مصلحة الطالبات والطلاب وتوجيههم إلى مستقبل مليء بالفرص. أضاف أن جامعة الحكمة تتولى مسؤولية ثمينة تجعلها تقدم للطلاب التعليم النوعي والقيم الإنسانية في بيئة جامعية دافئة وآمنة تساعدهم على النجاح والتقدم.

DESCRIPTION:La Faculté de droit a eu l’honneur d’accueillir Michèle Guillaume-Hofnung\, figure de référence internationale et pionnière de la médiation\, à l’occasion d’une conférence académique consacrée à « La médiation et sa distinction par rapport aux autres modes alternatifs de résolution des différends » \nCette rencontre a offert aux étudiants un éclairage rigoureux et inspirant sur les fondements\, les spécificités et les enjeux contemporains de la médiation\, en tant qu’outil central de prévention et de résolution pacifique des conflits. \nLes échanges nourris avec les étudiants\, en particulier ceux de la Clinique juridique\, des matières MARD et du Master \, ont témoigné d’un réel intérêt académique et d’une participation active\, à la hauteur de l’importance du sujet. \nUn grand merci à Madame la Professeure Guillaume-Hofnung pour la richesse de son intervention\, ainsi qu’à l’ensemble des étudiants et enseignants présents pour la qualité des débats. \n  \n    \n  \n
