SUMMARY:The Rise of AI in Radiology at the Faculty of Public Health
DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Public Health at Université La Sagesse\, in collaboration with the university’s Continuing Education Center and Canon Medical Systems\, organized a scientific training workshop titled “The Rise of Artificial Intelligence in Radiology and Its Impact on the Future of Medical Imaging.” The event welcomed Minister of Labor Dr. Mohammad Haidar\, expert in nuclear medicine\, who delivered a lecture on the role of artificial intelligence in improving diagnostic quality. Attendees included Paul Maqdisi\, President of the Lebanese Radiology Technicians Syndicate; Mr. Charbel Makhoul\, Regional Director of Canon Medical Systems; the university’s vice presidents; several members of the university council; Professor Diala Khoury\, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health; Dr. Nelly Hobeika\, Director of the Continuing Education Center; as well as a large number of doctors\, radiology technicians from various Lebanese hospitals\, and specialized professors. \nProfessor El Khoury: Advocating for Medical Imaging Innovation \nThe workshop opened with welcoming remarks from Professor El Khoury. She acknowledged Minister Haidar’s valuable contributions to the university\, highlighting his previous series of lectures on radiation protection that continue to make a scientific impact. \nProfessor El Khoury explained that the workshop aimed to open a scientific discussion about the therapeutic opportunities offered by the ongoing digital revolution\, as well as the challenges it presents to professionals working in diagnostic care through medical imaging. She emphasized the importance of adapting to rapid technological advances and benefiting from the positive developments in healthcare. \nProfessor El Khoury also noted that the workshop supports the mission of Université La Sagesse and its Faculty of Public Health by equipping students and professionals with the necessary skills alongside theoretical lessons. The event provided an opportunity to explore the latest technological innovations in healthcare\, helping participants keep pace with progress and changes while excelling in patient care and delivering high-quality services to those in need. \nDr. Haidar: Keeping Pace with Transformation Is a National Responsibility \nDr. Mohammad Haidar highlighted that artificial intelligence technologies have become essential to improving the quality of diagnoses and the accuracy of medical images. He stressed that keeping up with this technological shift is not solely the responsibility of the health sector but a national duty requiring cooperation among all sectors\, with a significant role for universities and higher education institutions. \nDr. Haidar emphasized that artificial intelligence is now a key factor in shaping the future of nations and should be accessible to all Lebanese citizens. He underlined the importance of universities bridging academic research with practical applications to ensure students and professionals develop a high level of competence and are well prepared for the future. He added that educational institutions\, through their research and training programs\, can nurture innovative ideas and pioneering initiatives that contribute to advancing the sector and providing advanced technological solutions. \nDr. Haidar also stressed the need to strengthen cooperation between universities\, government\, and the private sector to build a sustainable dialogue platform. This platform would focus on setting priorities\, offering continuous training\, developing skills\, and exchanging expertise. Such efforts would enable students to actively participate in the technological advancement process\, particularly since educational institutions are key drivers in shaping the digital future. \nDr. Haidar pointed out that developing national capabilities requires ongoing investment in education and training. He highlighted the role universities play in supporting entrepreneurial initiatives and fostering an environment conducive to innovation. He concluded by affirming confidence that Lebanon has the talent and expertise to lead in AI-assisted medical imaging if supported by the right environment\, policies\, and fruitful cooperation. \nCommemorative Shield and Training Sessions \nMr. Makhoul\, Regional Director of Canon Medical Systems\, also spoke\, affirming the company’s commitment to the future of healthcare not only through its medical imaging systems but also by embracing advanced technologies and AI-driven innovations. He explained that these tools help improve diagnostics and support faster decision-making\, positively impacting patient treatment. He emphasized that technology must always go hand in hand with education\, noting the importance of this workshop\, and calling for continued sharing of knowledge and expertise to support the medical community. \nIn recognition of his contributions\, Minister Dr. Mohammad Haidar was awarded a commemorative shield by Université La Sagesse and Canon Medical Systems. \nThe workshop concluded after three days of sessions that included specialized training in advanced medical imaging using the latest technologies\, with a focus on cardiac\, breast\, and prostate imaging. The program also featured scientific lectures delivered by experts from Canon Medical Systems\, Université La Sagesse’s partner for the event.

SUMMARY:SE.TC Workshop at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration
DESCRIPTION:Université La Sagesse hosted the SE.TC (Social Entrepreneurship in times of crises) workshop in Lebanon as part of the Erasmus+ program\, demonstrating its continued commitment to fostering social innovation and impact through education. \nOrganized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration\, the workshop brought together 9 participants with a dedicated team of instructors including Dr. Alain Osta (SE.TC Project Manager at Université La Sagesse)\, Dr. Ziad Haddad\, Dr. Sandreen Hitti\, Mr. Ghassan Eid\, Mr. Antoine El Miskawy\, Mr. Rodolphe Gabriel\, and Me Elie Karam. \nThe curriculum consisted of seven comprehensive modules delivered over seven weeks\, totaling three hours of training each week\, in line with the SE.TC course structure. These included Social Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice\, Social Impact\, Marketing\, Digital Tools\, Financial and Economic Sustainability\, Legal Frameworks\, and Business Plan Development. \nParticipants remained highly engaged throughout the training and showed a strong interest in deepening their understanding of financial literacy\, legal structures\, and strategies for resilience in times of crisis. Their feedback emphasized the importance of introducing the Legal Frameworks module earlier in the sequence and called for more content that reflects the realities of the Lebanese crisis. This is closely aligned with Université La Sagesse’s commitment to offering education that is both context-aware and socially relevant. \nPitching Ideas for Social Innovation \nThe workshop concluded on July 25 with a pitching session. Two groups of participants presented their social enterprise projects to a panel of experts who provided constructive feedback and guidance. \nGroup 1: SoloRaise \nIll Bou Samra and Rania Al Adel\, inspired by Rania’s personal experience\, proposed SoloRaise\, a restaurant and job platform designed to support single mothers. The project impressed the jury with its strong social relevance and potential for real-world impact. Suggestions were made to structure the initiative as a SARL (limited liability company) and to strengthen its transparency\, pricing\, and recruitment strategies. Additionally\, Dr. Sandreen Hitti encouraged the team to explore partnerships with organizations such as the LLWB NGO to enhance the project’s reach and effectiveness. \nGroup 2: Level Up \nCreated by Tia Attieh\, Carole Dib\, and Carl Sawaya\, Level UP aims to establish a Center for Life Skills Development to equip Lebanese youth with digital and soft skills. The team highlighted the importance of crisis-management training and self-sustainability\, particularly given Lebanon’s unstable socio-economic environment. The jury valued their thoughtful approach and emphasized the need for sensitive communication when addressing educational gaps. \nBuilding a Community of Changemakers \nThe closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Sandra Ghosn\, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration\, Dr. Nelly Hobeika\, Director of the Center for Continuing Education\, and Dr. Alain Osta. Participants were awarded certificates of attendance and completion in recognition of their dedication and achievement. \nThis workshop exemplifies Université La Sagesse’s commitment to integrating social responsibility and innovation within its academic programs. The university is proud to contribute to social impact education through Erasmus+ and to position social entrepreneurship at the core of our academic mission. By equipping students and community members with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead in times of crisis\, the university continues to contribute to inclusive and sustainable development in Lebanon.

DESCRIPTION:Le Centre de langues de l’Université La Sagesse\, en collaboration avec le Centre de formation permanente\, a organisé un atelier de formation sur l’utilisation de l’intelligence artificielle (IA) dans l’enseignement des langues\, explorant les opportunités qu’elle offre pour enrichir le processus éducatif d’une part\, et les limites à fixer pour éviter ses effets négatifs d’autre part. \nLes ateliers ont réuni les enseignants du Centre de langues de l’université\, les professeurs de langues des écoles de La Sagesse ainsi qu’un certain nombre d’écoles situées dans le diocèse maronite de Beyrouth. \nLors de son intervention\, M. Pierre Abdessater\, directeur du Centre de langues de l’Université La Sagesse\, a souligné que nous sommes aujourd’hui à un tournant. L’intelligence artificielle n’est pas une simple technologie passagère\, mais une véritable révolution\, comparable à celles qui ont marqué l’histoire de la transmission du savoir. Selon lui\, l’intelligence artificielle transforme notre manière d’enseigner\, d’apprendre et de dialoguer entre cultures et langues\, contribuant ainsi à créer un environnement éducatif dynamique et interactif. Mais\, comme toute révolution\, elle suscite interrogations et parfois inquiétudes. On se demande alors quel sera le rôle de l’enseignant\, et quel avenir attend le sens critique\, l’innovation et la créativité.\nMonsieur Abdessater a poursuivi en appelant à une ouverture éclairée sur les aspects positifs de l’IA plutôt qu’à la crainte\, en préconisant son intégration judicieuse dans la pratique éducative sans confondre progrès technologique et perte de sens.\nIl a insisté sur le fait que l’IA ne doit pas remplacer l’humain\, mais servir à soutenir et enrichir les connaissances. Il a ajouté que Les ateliers constituait\, en substance\, une invitation à explorer les moyens de s’adapter à l’IA et d’en faire un allié\, et non un maître. \n  \nConférences et exercices pratiques \nLes ateliers ont proposé une série de conférences et d’exercices pratiques centrés sur l’utilisation efficace de l’intelligence artificielle et de ses plateformes spécialisées dans les langues et l’enseignement pour accompagner les étudiants et élèves. Les participants ont été alertés sur les erreurs parfois graves que l’IA peut commettre\, ce qui impose d’adopter une approche critique face aux contenus qu’elle fournit. L’objectif est ainsi d’intégrer l’intelligence artificielle de manière responsable dans le processus éducatif\, en l’utilisant comme un outil complémentaire plutôt que comme un substitut. \nIl a été confirmé que l’intelligence artificielle ne remplacera pas les enseignants\, mais que ceux qui l’adopteront surpasseront ceux qui ne l’utilisent pas. \nQuant aux étudiants et élèves\, les formateurs ont observé qu’ils ont souvent tendance à utiliser l’intelligence artificielle pour préparer leurs recherches et devoirs scolaires sans vérifier les informations fournies\, ce qui entraîne un manque de cohérence et de clarté dans leurs travaux. Cela souligne l’importance de les encourager en permanence à fournir un travail personnel afin de développer un bon niveau scientifique\, puis à utiliser l’IA de manière complémentaire\, sans s’y fier de manière absolue. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n

SUMMARY:Accord de coopération entre l’Université Catholique de Lyon et l’Université La Sagesse
DESCRIPTION:En vue de renforcer leur coopération et de consolider leurs liens avec de grandes institutions académiques\, le recteur de l’Université La Sagesse\, le professeur Georges N. Nehme\, et le recteur de l’Université Catholique de Lyon\, le père professeur Grégory Woimbée\, ont signé un accord de coopération\, marquant le début d’un partenariat global aux dimensions académiques\, scientifiques\, culturelles et de développement. Ce partenariat concerne aussi bien les étudiants que les enseignants et le personnel administratif. \nLa cérémonie de signature s’est déroulée en présence de la délégation accompagnant le recteur de l’Université Catholique de Lyon ainsi que des membres du Conseil de l’Université La Sagesse. \nLors de son intervention\, le professeur George Nehme a rappelé les nombreux points communs entre les deux universités\, toutes deux fondées en 1875 et célébrant cette année leur 150ème jubilé. Il a souligné que l’Université La Sagesse se distingue parmi les universités catholiques du Liban par son lien direct avec l’Archidiocèse maronite de Beyrouth sous l’égide du Monseigneur Boulos Abdul Sater\, Archevêque Maronite de Beyrouth et Chancelier de l’université. Il a ajouté que\, face aux nombreux défis auxquels sont confrontées les universités\, cette coopération avec l’Université Catholique de Lyon constitue une opportunité précieuse pour développer des programmes communs et partager une vision d’avenir. \nLe recteur de La Sagesse a également affirmé que cet accord s’inscrit dans la stratégie de l’université visant à élargir son réseau international de partenariats académiques. \nDe son côté\, le père Grégory Woimbée a souligné les valeurs et la mission partagées par les deux institutions\, insistant sur l’importance du rôle des universités catholiques dans la formation d’élites capables de contribuer à la stabilité et au développement de la société. Il a par ailleurs réaffirmé la volonté de l’Université Catholique de Lyon de renforcer ses liens avec d’autres établissements d’enseignement supérieur et de développer des projets ambitieux favorisant l’épanouissement des étudiants et la construction d’un avenir prometteur.

DESCRIPTION:“The university’s mission is not limited to teaching and research\, but it is also a safe cultural laboratory for communication” \nUniversité La Sagesse hosted visiting Professor Vincenzo Rosito from the Pontifical John Paul II Theological Institute for Marriage and Family Sciences in Rome\, as part of the cooperation agreement signed between the university and the institute to organize conferences\, workshops\, training sessions\, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise. \nOver the course of three days\, Professor Rosito delivered specialized lectures organized by the Director of the Family Institute at Université la Sagesse\, Father Youssef Abi Zeid\, in the presence of Bishop Antoine Aoukar\, the Dean of the Faculty of Religious and Theological Sciences\, Father Tanios Khalil\, and members of the University Council: Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Rayan Haykal\, Vice President for Research and Development Dr. Etienne Harb\, Vice President for International and Institutional Relations Dr. Lily Assaf\, along with a large number of professors from the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations and the Faculty of Religious and Theological Sciences. \nThe lectures focused on the educational experiences and pedagogical guidelines developed at the Institute in Rome in recent years\, starting from the effort to put academic communities at the service of the synodal church on the one hand\, and to integrate synodal values and practices into the management of academic life on the other. They also addressed ways to prepare students in a meaningful way for the important roles they will play in the synodal Church. \nProfessor Vincenzo Rosito emphasized that there are three essential missions that shape the role of a university: teaching; researching; communicating the results of research. He added that communication is a core element of these missions\, as it conveys the “truths of reality” and the “words of life\,” and undoubtedly\, academic life is negatively affected when the balance between teaching\, research\, and communication is disrupted. \nRosito continued by noting that commitment to research—whether individual or collective—is necessary to avoid repeating the same lessons given to students over the years. Moreover\, the questions raised by students provide valuable material for research and for preparing comprehensive scientific responses. Therefore\, the circularity between teaching and research is fundamental. However\, it remains insufficient without adding the third mission\, which is communication. \nHe stressed that through communication\, the university demonstrates its commitment to building “the world we share.” This can be achieved by opening up to initiatives with non-academic entities and institutions (associations\, professional groups\, pastoral movements\, and so on). Thus\, academic communities do not confine themselves to “teaching” only\, but also engage in “learning” through enhanced communication\, which in turn leads to improve both teaching and research. Rosito added that this third mission also reflects the professors’ commitment to renewing teaching methods and adopting new research methods. \nThe visiting professor Vincenzo Rosito also cited a statement by Pope Francis calling for joint efforts to make universities “a sort of providential cultural laboratory in which the Church carries out the performative interpretation of the reality brought about the Christ event.” \nThe meaning of a “cultural laboratory” in academic life \nThe lectures were followed by workshops in which participants addressed the meaning of a “cultural laboratory” as well as “ways of effectively interpreting reality in academic life.” The discussions emphasized that the university is such a safe laboratory\, one that opens the way for learning through experiences\, mistakes\, revisions\, and corrections. It is not merely a place for scientific truths\, but also a space that transforms communities as they search for “scientific truths”. DESCRIPTION:A delegation from Université La Sagesse visited several educational institutions in the State of Qatar with the aim of fostering communication and academic orientation between the students of these institutions and Université La Sagesse. \n  \nThe delegation included Dr. Georges Michel Abdessater\, Vice President for Strategy and Development; Dr. Nour Rachkidi\, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management; and Mr. Nadim Yared\, Director of the Office of Admissions and Orientation. \nThe tour covered a number of schools\, including:\nGlobal Academy International School\, Lycée Bonaparte\, Lebanese School of Qatar\, Heritage International Academy\, Qatar International School\, Arab International Academy\, The International School of Choueifat (SABIS)\, Beverly Hills International School\, and Lycée Qatarien Voltaire. \nOver the course of three days\, the delegation held a series of meetings and presentations across Doha\, engaging in inspiring exchanges with students about the diverse opportunities offered at Université La Sagesse. Georges Nehmé\, a marqué le lancement officiel du Chapitre France des Alumni-ULS. \nCe rendez-vous chaleureux a rassemblé les diplômés de l’ULS installés en France\, venus partager leurs parcours\, leurs réussites et leur attachement à leur université d’origine. Cette rencontre a abouti à la signature d’un accord de coopération entre la Faculté d’Economie et de Gestion de l’ULS et l’IAE Metz School of Management de l’Université de Lorraine\, en présence du Sénateur de la Moselle\, M. Rayan Haykal\, Vice-recteur aux Affaires Académiques\, Mme Lily Assaf\, Vice-recteur aux Relations Internationales et Institutionnelles\, et Mme Sandra Ghosn\, Doyen de la Faculté d’Économie et de Gestion. \nLes échanges\, à la fois chaleureux et constructifs\, ont porté sur la relance des accords de coopération existants et l’ouverture de nouvelles perspectives de collaboration académique\, scientifique et culturelle entre les deux universités. \nUne réunion bilatérale entre les responsables des relations internationales\, suivie d’une visite du campus de l’UCLille\, a permis de renforcer les liens de partenariat et d’amitié universitaire. \n    \n  \n  \n#10 Visite à Rennes School of Business \nDans le cadre de la tournée universitaire de l’Université La Sagesse (ULS) en France\, Mme Lily Assaf\, Vice-recteur aux Relations Internationales et Institutionnelles\, et Mme Sandra Ghosn\, Doyen de la Faculté d’Économie et de Gestion\, ont été reçues le 13 octobre 2025 à Rennes par l’équipe des Relations Internationales de la Rennes School of Business (RSB). \nLa réunion\, suivie d’un déjeuner de travail empreint de convivialité\, a permis d’échanger autour de l’accord de coopération existant entre les deux institutions\, notamment en matière de doubles diplômes offerts et de mobilité enseignante et étudiante. La rencontre a confirmé la volonté et le plaisir des deux institutions à pousser encore plus loin les perspectives de leur coopération\, l’ULS ayant le privilège d’être le seul partenaire libanais de la RSB.\nLes discussions\, à la fois chaleureuses et constructives\, ont porté sur plusieurs nouveaux axes de coopération\, notamment les services aux étudiants à travers le Centre de Carrière\, ainsi que le développement des compétences pédagogiques par le Centre de Pédagogie Universitaire. \nL’équipe de la RSB était représentée par :\n• Mme Caroline Jouanin\, Directrice des Relations et Développement International\,\n• Mme Laura Menier\, Coordinatrice\, Partenariat et Développement International\,\n• Mme Dusica Srbinoska\, Manager du Partenariat Global\,\n• Mme Noémie Vettier\, Area & Support Manager. \nCette rencontre bilatérale a contribué à consolider les liens d’amitié et de partenariat académique entre les deux institutions. \n   \n  \n  \n#11 Le Recteur de l’ULS reçu à l’Assemblée nationale française \nLe Professeur Georges Nehmé\, Recteur de l’Université La Sagesse (ULS)\, a été reçu à l’Assemblée nationale française par M. Joseph Moukarzel\, député suppléant représentant la 10e circonscription des Français établis hors de France\, incluant le Liban. \nIl était accompagné d’une délégation composée de M. Rayan Haykal\, Vice-recteur aux Affaires Académiques\, Mme Lily Assaf\, Vice-recteur aux Relations Internationales et Institutionnelles\, ainsi que Mme Sandra Ghosn\, Doyen de la Faculté d’Économie et de Gestion. \nUn échange sur les rapports entre la France et le Liban a eu lieu\, suivi d’une visite guidée du Palais Bourbon\, siège de cette éminente institution républicaine. \nCette rencontre\, marquée par un climat d’estime réciproque\, a offert à la délégation l’occasion de mieux comprendre le fonctionnement de l’Assemblée nationale tout en découvrant la richesse historique et symbolique de ses lieux\, dans un esprit de dialogue et d’ouverture. \nLe Recteur a tenu à remercier chaleureusement M. Moukarzel pour son accueil attentif et pour cette expérience à la fois stimulante et mémorable. \n    \n  \n

تُبنى على النسيان \nعميد كلية الحقوق شادي سعد: المعالجة تبدأ بالاعتراف بمسؤوليتنا عما جرى \nبرعاية وحضور وزيرالعدل عادل نصار، أطلقت جامعة الحكمة، العيادة القانونية في كلية الحقوق، بالتعاون مع مؤسسة نواة للمبادرات القانونية (Seeds for Legal Initiatives) والدكتورة كارمن أبو جودة، وبالشراكة مع هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في لبنان، ودعم من حكومة كندا، الوحدة السابعة من الدورة التعليمية المفتوحة عن بعد حول قضية “التعامل مع الماضي: المفقودين والمخفيين قسرا في لبنان”، . وتركز هذه الوحد الجديدة على التأثيرات النفسية والقانونية والاجتماعية التي تواجه النساء بعد فقدان أحد أفراد العائلة (زوج، ابن، أب، شقيق)، في إطار السعي لتعزيز العدالة الترميمية وبناء ذاكرة جماعية قائمة على حقوق الإنسان. \nجاء ذلك في “بيت بيروت” السوديكو بحضور السفير الكندي في لبنان جريج غاليغان، عميد كلية الحقوق في جامعة الحكمة الدكتور شادي سعد، ممثلة هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في لبنان جيلان المسيري، الممثلة المقيمة لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في لبنان بليرتا أليكو، ورئيسة لجنة أهالي المفقودين والمخطوفين في لبنان وداد حلواني، المؤسسة والمديرة التنفيذية لمؤسسة نواة للمبادرات القانونية (Seeds for Legal Initiatives) المحامية ليال صقر، مسؤولة حقوق الإنسان في مكتب المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان في لبنان لين عيد، أستاذة القانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان في جامعة الحكمة وعضو الهيئة الوطنية للمفقودين والمخفيين قسرا رينا صفير، وحشد من المعنيين وطلاب الحقوق في الجامعة. \n\nنصار: واجبنا أن نبحث ونعترف ونسمي \nإستهل حفل الإطلاق بكلمة وزير العدل عادل نصار الذي لفت إلى أن اللقاء في هذا المكان المليء بالذكريات يشكل مناسبة لتذكّر سبعة عشر ألف مفقود في لبنان، وقضية هؤلاء ليست مسألة قانون أو سياسة فقط، بل هي قضيّة إنسانيّة ووطنية، تتعلّق بالحقّ في المعرفة وبكرامة الإنسان. وذكّر أنه في عام 2018، وبعد نضالٍ طويل استمرّ أكثر من أربعين سنة، قادته المرأة اللبنانيّة بإيمانٍ وصبرٍ كبيرين، صدر القانون رقم 105 المتعلّق بالمفقودين والمخفيّين قسرًا. وتابع الوزير ناصر أن النساء، من الأمهات والأخوات، وبعضهنّ بيننا اليوم، حافظن على ذاكرة الوطن من النسيان، ودافعن عن حقّ كلّ عائلة في معرفة مصير أحبّائها. \nوأشار وزير العدل إلى أن هذا القانون أنشأ هيئة وطنيّة مستقلّة، كلّفت بالبحث عن المفقودين، وتحديد مصائرهم، وإعادة الأسماء إلى الوجوه التي غيّبتها الحرب. وأوضح أنه لم يعتبر، بعد انتهاء ولاية الهيئة الأولى، أن إعادة تشكيلها مجرّد إجراء إداري، بل إنه واجب وطني وإنساني، مضيفا أنه حرص على أن تكون المرأة ممثَّلة بشكلٍ عادل، لأنّ السعي إلى الحقيقة ليس خيارًا، بل هو رسالة ومسؤولية. \nوشدد الوزير نصار على أن الحقيقة ليست مفهومًا مجرّدًا، بل حقّ أساسيّ للعائلات، وشرط لأيّ مصالحة حقيقيّة ودائمة. وتابع أنه من هذا المنطلق، تعمل وزارة العدل على تعزيز التعاون بين الهيئة الوطنية والقضاء، وعلى إدماج قضايا العدالة الانتقالية في التعليم والبحث والتدريب، لأنّ الذاكرة لا تكفي وحدها — يجب أن تتحوّل إلى فعلٍ ومعرفةٍ تحمي من التكرار. \nواستذكر وزير العدل عبارة سيمون فيل: “لا أحبّ عبارة واجب الذّاكرة؛ فالواجب الحقيقيّ هو التعليم ونقل الوعي.” وتابع أنه انطلاقًا من هذا الفكر يأتي المشروع الذي يتم إطلاقه اليوم، خاصة القسم المخصّص لمقاربة قضيّة المفقودين من منظور النوع الاجتماعي، ليؤكّد أنّ التعليم ونقل الوعي هما الطريق نحو العدالة ومنع التكرار. فالعدالة لا تتحقّق فقط في المحاكم، بل أيضًا من خلال المعرفة، والاحترام، والعمل المشترك. وعبر هذا التعاون بين الجامعة، والمنظمات الشريكة، والوزارة، يتم تأكيد الإيمان بعدالةٍ تجمع لا تُفرّق، وبدولةٍ تُصغي لا تتجاهل، وبحقٍّ يُداوي الجراح بدل أن يُعيد فتحها. \nوإذ شكر القيمين على البرنامج، أكد الوزير نصار أن الحقّ في المعرفة ليس ترفًا ولا منّةً من أحد، بل هو أساس العدالة ومصدر قوتها. وطالما هناك إنسان واحد في لبنان لا يعرف مصير قريبه، تبقى الدولة مسؤولة، ولا تُسدّد هذا الدَّين إلا بالبحث، والشفافية، والاعتراف. فالأوطان لا تُبنى على النسيان، بل على الوعي والضمير. والعدالة، عندما تواجه الماضي بشجاعة، لا تضعف، بل تتقدّم وتتعافى. \nوأردف وزير العدل عادل نصار أنه لهذا السبب بالذات، أعاد إلى القضاء ملفّات الاغتيالات السياسية التي بقيت سنوات طويلة في الأدراج، لأن العدالة لا تكتمل إلا بمصارحة التاريخ. وقال إن مواجهة هذه القضايا ليست عودة إلى الماضي، بل خطوة ضرورية لترسيخ الثقة بالقضاء، وتأكيد أن لا أحد فوق المساءلة، وأن العدالة لا تسقط بالتقادم ولا بالصمت. كما كتب غابرييل غارسيا ماركيز: “التذكّر سهلٌ على من يملك ذاكرة، لكنّ النسيان صعبٌ على من يملك قلبًا.” وفي قلب الوطن، حيث تنبض إنسانيّتنا، يعيش المفقودون. ما دمنا نذكرهم، فهم لا يغيبون. إنّ واجبنا أن نبحث، ونعترف، ونسمي، لنجعل من لبنان وطنًا يتذكّر ليتقدّم، ويواجه ماضيه ليكون له مستقبل. \n\nالعميد سعد: مستعدون لتأسيس وحدة وساطة متخصصة تسهم في معالجة ملف المفقودين \nثم كانت كلمة عميد كلية الحقوق في جامعة الحكمة العميد شادي سعد الذي أوضح أن إطلاق وحدة جديدة من البرنامج التدريبي عبر الانترنت حول حالات الاختفاء القسري، تهدف للتأكيد أن العدالة لا تبنى بالنسيان، بل بالمصالحة مع الذاكرة. وأوضح أن هذا البرنامج أطلق في كلية الحقوق في جامعة الحكمة عام 2022، في تجربة رائدة في لبنان والعالم العربي، اذ كان الاول من نوعه باللغة العربية. وشارك فيه خلال ثلاث سنوات اكثر من ستمائة طالب وطالبة، واصبح اليوم جزءا اساسيا من منهاج مادة حقوق الانسان في السنة الرابعة. وتابع العميد سعد مضيفا أن هذه الوحدة الجديدة من البرنامج تضيء على دور النساء في النضال الطويل من اجل الحقيقة. النساء اللواتي كن، في قلب الالم، حارسات الذاكرة وحاملات راية العدالة. من دموعهن واصرارهن ولد القانون رقم 105/2018، فكان ثمرة نضال وصبر وامل لم ينكسر. ولا بد هنا من قول صريح وواضح: صحيح ان هناك دولا ومنظمات مسلحة خارجية تتحمل الجزء الاكبر من هذه المأساة، وصحيح انه علينا اليوم ان نستفيد من التبدلات الكبرى التي تحصل في المنطقة لفك الغاز هذا الملف، لكن لا يجوز ان نستمر، كلبنانيين، في القاء اللوم فقط ودائما على «الاخرين» وحدهم، ونحيد انفسنا. اذا حولنا الحرب الى «حرب الاخرين» على ارضنا، والخطف الى «خطف الاخرين» لابنائنا، والاختفاء القسري الى «اخفاء الاخرين» لشبابنا، فاننا نتهرب من مسؤولياتنا المشتركة. علينا ان نعترف بان جانبا مما جرى اسهمنا فيه نحن ايضا، وان كان دور الخارج كبيرا جدا. ومن هذا الاعتراف تبدأ المعالجة الحقيقية. الهدف ليس المحاسبة بعد عقود بروح الانتقام، بل اظهار الحقيقة. فالحقيقة هي اولى خطوات الشفاء. \nوتابع عميد كلية الحقوق في جامعة الحكمة أن كل الجماعات اللبنانية شاركت في الحرب، وكل منها دافع عن قضاياه التي يعتبرها محقة من وجهة نظره. ولكن لم ينتصر احد، ولن ينتصر في نهاية المطاف الا لبنان التعددي. المطلوب تنقية الذاكرة، وفصل موضوع المخفيين قسرا عن حقيقة الحرب، وعن اسبابها ونتائجها، لتظهر الحقيقة من دون تحميل مسؤوليات سياسية آنية. \nوأبدى العميد سعد إستعداد كلية الحقوق في جامعة الحكمة لتأسيس وحدة وساطة متخصصة تساهم في معالجة هذا الملف الحساس، في حال رغبت الهيئة الوطنية للمفقودين والمخفيين قسرا اعتماد هذا الخيار. وأعلن أن الكلية تتشرف بتعيين عضوين منها في صفوف الهيئة: القاضي الرئيس جوزيف سماحة، والاستاذة رينا صفير مديرة العيادة القانونية والمشرفة منذ العام 2022 على هذا البرنامج. وختم مؤكدا التزام جامعة الحكمة التي حملت مشعل العدالة والقضايا الانسانية لاكثر من قرن ونصف، بتوجيهات من ابرشية بيروت للموارنة، بمواصلة هذه الرسالة، بضمير وصدق ومسؤولية. \n\nالمسيري لإعادة كتابة الذاكرة الجماعية بما يتيح للشباب أداة للتفكير والحوار \nوفي كلمتها أكدت ممثلة هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في لبنان جيلان المسيري أن إطلاق هذه الحصص يأتي كعمل تراكمي يُبنى على الجهود التي بدأت مع مفوضية الأمم المتحدة السامية لحقوق الإنسان، وكمبادرة رائدة لبناء معرفة مؤسسية ومنهجية حول قضية لم تُحل بعد. أضافت أن الحصص الجديدة لا تتناول القضية من منظور قانوني أو حقوقي أو اجتماعي فحسب، بل تضع النساء وتجاربهنّ في صميم السردية الوطنية، بما يسهم في إعادة كتابة الذاكرة الجماعية بصورة أكثر عدلا وشمولية، ويتيح للأجيال الجديدة أداة للتفكير والحوار حول الماضي والمسؤولية المشتركة في فهمه ونقله. \nولفتت المسيري إلى أن هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة دعمت هذا الجهد من خلال الأبحاث والتوثيق والحوار مع العائلات والمنظمات المحلية، بالشراكة مع المؤسسات الوطنية، وفي مقدمها الهيئة الوطنية للمفقودين والمخفيين قسرًا، من ضمن التزام أوسع بتعزيز العدالة الجندرية والسلام المستدام. وأكدت أنها خطوة مبتكرة تتيح للجميع، طلابًا وأكاديميين وناشطين وعائلات، الإنخراط في نقاش وطني طال انتظاره حول الذاكرة والعدالة. وشددت على أن السلام المستدام لا يمكن أن يتحقق في لبنان من دون الحقيقة والمساءلة والعدالة الجندرية وهيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة ملتزمة دعم الجهود الوطنية والشراكات المستمرة في هذا المسار نحو عدالة لا تنسى أحدًا. \n\nأليكو: جهود المرأة مهّدت للدرب الطويل \nبدورها، لفتت الممثلة المقيمة لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في لبنان بليرتا أليكو إلى أن المرأة في لبنان حملت وزر التحديات الكبيرة التي بدأت عام 75 ولم تنته. فلطالما كانت المرأة في صدارة النقاش كأم وشخص أساسي في العائلة. وقالت أليكو إن الوحدة التعليمية الجديدة موضوعة بتصرف الكثيرين من أجل التوعية حول التعامل مع ماضي لبنان وبناء ثقافة من الحقيقة. ووجهت التحية للمرأة اللبنانية التي لعبت دورًا كبيرًا ولا سيما السيدة وداد حلواني التي شكلت جهودها مصدر وحي يسمح بالتمهيد للدرب حتى ولو كان هذا الدرب طويلا. \n\nغاليغان: الإنكار لا يؤدي إلا للمزيد من الجراح \nأما السفير الكندي في لبنان جريج غاليغان فتحدث عن تجربة بلاده في المصارحة والمصالحة مع سكان كندا الأصليين. وقال إن العملية لم تكن سهلة إذ يتعرض السكان الأصليون لغاية اليوم لخطر الإخفاء والقتل وتؤكد الإحصائيات أن الدرب لا يزال طويلا لتحقيق المطلوب. أضاف أن هذا الدرب يبدأ بالحقيقة ويتحقق الشفاء عندما تكون للمجتمع القدرة على المصالحة. فالعدالة لا بد أن تتحقق من خلال الشجاعة والتصميم والإصرار أما الإنكار فلا يؤدي إلا للمزيد من الجراح. \n\nالوحدة التعليمية متاحة للجميع \nكانت مديرة البرامج في نواة المبادرات القانونية الصحافية لينا جروس قدمت حفل إطلاق الوحدة التعليمية الجديدة حول “التعامل مع الماضي: المفقودين والمخفيين قسرا في لبنان من منظور جندري” وأكدت أنه لا يمكن مقاربة الملف من دون التوقّف عند الدور الريادي الذي لعبته ولا تزال تلعبه النساء في هذه القضية كأمهات وزوجات وبنات وناشطات قُدن النضال من الشارع إلى التشريع، وأسّسن لمسارات قانونية وحقوقية ما كانت لتتحقق لولا إصرارهن على كشف الحقيقة وصون الذاكرة. ومن هنا تأتي الوحدة الجديدة لتُسلّط الضوء على القضية من منظور جندري يعترف بهذا الدور ويدعمه. \nكذلك قدمت الأستاذة المحاضرة في جامعة القديس يوسف والعضو السابق في الهيئة الوطنية للمفقودين والمخفيين قسرًا الدكتورة كارمن حسون أبو جودة عرضا عامًا حول الوحدة التعليمية الجديدة وقد أوضحت أنه يتضمن جزءين الأول يركز على الأثر النفسي والعاطفي للفقدان والتداعيات المالية والاقتصادية والثاني يتناول نضال النساء لمعرفة مصير المفقودين قسرًا، والذي كان أساسيًا لتشكيل أول آلية للعدالة الإنتقالية وهي الهيئة الوطنية للمفقودين قسرًا. ويمكن للمهتمين تسجيل أسمائهم في البرنامج من خلال الدخول إلى الموقع الإلكتروني للعيادة القانونية في كلية الحقوق في جامعة الحكمة، علمًا بأن الترجمة إلى الإنكليزية متاحة لمن يرغب بالمتابعة بهذه اللغة. \n\nحلواني في جلسة حوارية: الآن وقت تنفيذ القانون 105 لمعرفة مصير المفقودين \nثم كانت جلسة حوارية تضمنت مداخلة لمؤسسة ورئيسة لجنة أهالي المفقودين والمخطوفين في لبنان وداد حلواني، التي ذكّرت بأن النساء تنادين وتجمعن عام 82 قبل 43 سنة للمطالبة بجلاء مصير المفقودين من أنسبائهن، وكان الخطف لا يزال سائدًا حينها. أضافت أن النساء واجهن جبلا من التحديات والمخاطر وتعرضن لكافة أنواع القمع والإبتزاز المباشر والتعامل الدوني من قبل المسلحين وغالبية المسؤولين الرسميين. ورغم ذلك تمكنّ من تأسيس حركة احتجاجية سلمية ضد الحرب في عز احتدامها، واستمرت بعد الحرب جامعة سيدات من كل الطوائف والمذاهب والمناطق والإنتماءات الفكرية والسياسية، حتى انتزاع القانون 105/2018 الذي يكرس حق كل عائلة بمعرفة مصير أبنائها. وشددت حلواني على أن الوقت الآن هو وقت تنفيذ هذا القانون. \nإضافة إلى حلواني شارك في الجلسة الحوارية تحت عنوان: “الذاكرة، العدالة والمعرفة: بناء مستقبل قائم على حقوق الإنسان في لبنان” أستاذة القانون الدولي لحقوق الإنسان في جامعة الحكمة وعضو الهيئة الوطنية للمفقودين والمخفيين قسرا رينا صفير، المؤسسة والمديرة التنفيذية لمؤسسة نواة للمبادرات القانونية (Seeds for Legal Initiatives) المحامية ليال صقر، مسؤولة حقوق الإنسان في مكتب المفوضية السامية لحقوق الإنسان في لبنان لين عيد. أدارت الجلسة الجلسة منسقة المشاريع في هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة جمانة زبانه. \nواتفقت المشاركات في الجلسة على أهمية رفع الوعي حول قضية المفقودين والمختطفين قسرًا بحيث تتعزز الحقيقة ويتم وضع حد لتكرار الحروب على أرض لبنان. كما تم التنويه بأهمية البرنامج الذي يتم تدريسه في جامعة الحكمة والذي يعتبر تجربة رائدة في مجال تعزيز فرص العدالة، من الجديرتسويقها خارج لبنان والتشبيك مع تجارب مماثلة ولا سيما في سوريا والعراق واليمن وليبيا. \n\n\nDiscover the full MOOC and DESCRIPTION:On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day\, and in the presence of the president of the Lebanese Order of Physiotherapists Dr. Sayde Sassine\, the Department of Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Public Health – Université La Sagesse held the conference “Physiotherapy Insights 2025”. \n  \nThe audience paid tribute to Mr. Fady Mendelek\, the founding chair of the Physiotherapy and Medical Imaging departments\, who suddenly passed away at the end of July 2025\, leaving a lasting legacy through the generations of students he advised and trained. \nOpening the event\, Mr. Gergi Antoun\, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy\, presented the program’s milestones and insisted on the role of physiotherapy in enhancing life quality at every life stage. \nIn her address\, Prof. Diala El Khoury\, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health\, reminded students that “as future physiotherapists\, you are entering a profession guided by research\, science\, and above all\, compassion.” She emphasized evidence-based practice as a cornerstone of modern physiotherapy\, and invited students to keep learning\, keep questioning\, and to remember that their work has the power to change lives. \nDr. Sayde Sassine\, President of the Order of Physiotherapists\, empowered the students and reaffirmed that the Order will always stand by their side. \nDr. Claude Maroun a pioneer in introducing evidence-based clinical decision-making to Lebanon\, shared insights on this approach while Dr. Dina Barakat\, expert and elected member of the World Physiotherapy Executive Committee of IPT-HOPE\, explored the essential role of physiotherapists in cancer care – from pain management and fatigue reduction to rehabilitation and lymphedema management. \nThe conference concluded with a convivial gathering\, reaffirming Université La Sagesse’s commitment to training competent\, compassionate\, and research-driven professionals who transform knowledge into care. \n  \n \n \n\n

DESCRIPTION:Université La Sagesse hosted the official launch ceremony of the 2026 Academic Championships Series\, organized by ITLS in collaboration with its strategic partner\, the Makhzoumi Foundation\, and in academic partnership with Université La Sagesse and Rafik Hariri University. \nThe series includes eight competitions covering the following academic skill areas: Microsoft\, Adobe\, Entrepreneurship\, Innovation in Education\, Programming\, Debate\, Public Speaking\, and Volunteer Impact. \nThese championships open wide horizons for students to acquire essential skills\, engage in local competitions\, and represent Lebanon in international forums. Many of the competitions are linked to global finals held in California\, New York\, London\, Qatar\, and Jordan. \nUniversité La Sagesse will continue its partnership in the Microsoft Skills Championship\, a competition targeting students aged 13 to 22\, who first compete within their schools and universities before qualifying for the Microsoft Lebanon Skills Championship 2026\, which will be held next May at Université La Sagesse. The winners will then participate in the World Championship\, taking place this year in California\, USA. \nHosting this competition for the first time\, Université La Sagesse is set to welcome the largest edition yet reaching an expected 7\,000 students\, compared to 3\,000 participants from 40 schools and six universities in the previous edition. \nDr. Rayan Haikal\, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Université La Sagesse\, welcomed the attendees and expressed the university’s pride in hosting this academic event\, particularly the Microsoft Skills Championship. He highlighted that such competitions encourage students to acquire essential digital skills\, opening broad scientific horizons and preparing them for the job market — steering them away from the unproductive and excessive use of technology.\nHe added that this initiative reflects one of Université La Sagesse’s core missions: to inspire students to grow\, embrace innovation\, and gain the competencies that ensure academic and professional success. \nMrs. May Makhzoumi\, President of the Makhzoumi Foundation\, emphasized the importance of partnerships between the private sector\, civil society\, and academia\, stressing their shared role in empowering students and providing them with opportunities for personal\, academic\, and professional growth. \nMr. Tarek El Bacha\, CEO of ITLS\, congratulated Lebanese students for achieving first place worldwide in the Excel category last year\, in addition to top rankings in other categories — notably fifth place in Adobe. He affirmed that Lebanese students possess the talent and expertise to raise Lebanon’s name high internationally\, adding that these championships are a key step toward integrating educational technology and embracing the rise of artificial intelligence. \nDr. Houssam Salameh\, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Rafik Hariri University\, also addressed the audience\, underlining the importance of such competitions in shaping students’ skills and character\, while promoting Lebanon’s representation under its national flag in global arenas. DESCRIPTION:The Faculty of Public Health\, in collaboration with the Office of Corporate Social Responsibility\, proudly took part in the “Pinky Promise” Breast Cancer Awareness Day\, organized by the Barbara Nassar For Cancer Patient Support Organization under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Health. \nThe event took place on Saturday\, October 18\, 2025\, at the Forum de Beyrouth\, where hundreds gathered to promote awareness\, prevention\, and solidarity. \nThroughout the day\, participants benefited from free health checks and consultations\, explored a healthy food court and marketplace\, and enjoyed live music and community activities.\nThe highlight of the day was the symbolic “Marche Rose”\, uniting everyone in a shared message of hope and early detection. \nUniversité La Sagesse proudly hosted a booth led by the Faculty of Public Health\, where nursing\, physiotherapy\, and medical imaging students\, accompanied by their professors\, engaged with visitors\, shared valuable information on breast cancer prevention and early screening\, and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to community health and social responsibility. \nTogether\, we honor our “Pinky Promise” to promote health\, hope\, and early detection. \n  \n\n\n\n\n  \n\n

كتب الأديب اللبناني جبران خليل جبران: “الموسيقى لغة الروح” وليس من روح أكثر نبلا من الروح الذي يقود مؤسستنا الأكاديمية في خدمة المعرفة والكرامة الإنسانية”.\nوتابع البروفسور نعمة مؤكدًا أن جامعة الحكمة تبقى مكانًا ملائمًا للتعددية والتنوع الثقافي ومساحة متميزة للحوار بين الثقافات حيث يُعتبر الإختلاف غنًى.\nأضاف رئيس جامعة الحكمة أنه في بلد يعاني من النزاعات والإنقسامات، تذكّر جامعة الحكمة كما الموسيقى بالحقيقة إياها: لا يولد الجمال الحقيقي إلا في الإصغاء للآخر واحترام الإختلافات والتوازن بين الآراء المتعددة. وعلى غرار هذه الأوركسترا، تضم جامعة الحكمة مواهب وثقافات متعددة تجتمع كلها تحت هدف واحد هو الرقيّ بالفكر والبحث عن الحقيقة وخدمة الإنسان. وأمل أن تشكل الأمسية مناسبة للتذكير بأن الموسيقى الأجمل التي يمكن أن نعزفها معًا هي التشارك في المعرفة والبحث المجرد عن الحقيقة الموضوعية والإحتفال بكرامة الإنسان.\nأضاف نعمة أننا نتحلّق حول وليّ الجامعة، المطران بولس عبد الساتر، للإحتفال بقرن ونصف قرن من التاريخ والنجاحات والإلتزام بخدمة لبنان والعالم. فجامعة الحكمة تعمل منذ تأسيسها على تعزيز العلم والبحث وخدمة المجتمع، من خلال تنشئة طلاب على قاعدة مزج المعرفة والعلم بالحس النقدي والمسؤولية الإنسانية. وهذا ما يدفع أساتذة الجامعة وباحثيها وطلابها إلى العمل بالتزام تام تحكمه النزاهة والإحترام المتبادل.\nوذكّر البروفسور نعمة بأن جامعة الحكمة تأسست عام 1875 على يد مطران بيروت للموارنة المثلث الرحمات يوسف الدبس، إنطلاقًا من رؤياه السبّاقة والشجاعة بأن ينشئ مؤسسة علمية متجذرة في الإيمان، منفتحة على الثقافة، وملتزمة خدمة الإنسان. وتابع أن الإحتفال  بيوبيل المئة وخمسين يشكل تكريمًا لرؤيا المؤسس وتأكيدًا إضافيًا على الوفاء لرسالته تحت عباءة وليّ الجامعة.\nوختم شاكرًا إدارة متحف سرسق على تعاونها القيّم كما شكر الفنانين أعضاء الأوركسترا بقيادة لبنان عبد الحميد بعلبكي الذي تنثر موهبته أثرًا عميقًا وجميلا في القلوب والنفوس يعزز الإعتزاز بالإنتماء الوطني.\nالحفل\n \nبعد كلمة رئيس الجامعة، بدأ الحفل الموسيقي الذي استمر لمدة ساعة ونصف ساعة، بعزف لأوركسترا سيدة اللويزة بقيادة المايسترو لبنان بعلبكي. وكان مزج لمقطوعات كلاسيكية قدمها التينور إيليا فرنسيس، مع ألحان وأغان شعبية وتراثية أداها كورال سيدة اللويزة تحاكي تاريخ لبنان ومحبة الوطن ومرجعيته في نفوس المواطنين.\nكما ألقى الفنان رفعت طربيه نشيد الجامعة الذي يعكس تراثها التربوي والوطني العريق، واستمراريتها التي تحافظ على هذا التراث مع الإنفتاح على التطور الأكاديمي المعاصر ومواكبة الحداثة.\n \n

DESCRIPTION:L’Université La Sagesse a organisé une rencontre célébrant l’obtention de l’accréditation de la formation en sciences infirmières de la Faculté de santé publique par le Haut Conseil de l’évaluation de la recherche et de l’enseignement supérieur (Hcéres).\nCette accréditation a été octroyée sans aucune condition ni réserve\, le département ayant satisfait à tous les critères requis\, notamment l’amélioration continue du programme d’études\, sa conformité aux standards académiques internationaux\, l’attention particulière portée à la recherche scientifique ainsi qu’à la réussite des étudiants tant pour la poursuite d’études supérieures que pour leur insertion sur le marché du travail et leur formation continue\, en réponse aux besoins sociaux et économiques. \nLa cérémonie s’est tenue sur le campus de la Faculté de tourisme et de gestion hôtelière à Achrafieh\, en présence de Mgr Paul Abdul Sater\, Archevêque maronite de Beyrouth et Chancelier de l’Université La Sagesse\, du Recteur de l’université\, le Professeur Georges Nehme\, de Mme Abir Kurdi Alame\, Présidente de l’Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers\, du Dr Elie El Aaraj\, Président fondateur de l’ordre\, de M. Paul Makdessi\, Président du Syndicat des techniciens de radiologie\, ainsi que de représentants d’hôpitaux publics\, universitaires et privés\, et des membres de la communauté universitaire\, Professeur Diala Khoury\, Doyen de la Faculté de santé publique\, Dr. Ghada El Ayle\, Chef du Département des sciences infirmières\, Mme Chantal El Hajj\, Coordinatrice du Département des sciences infirmières\, Mme Darine Mouannes\, responsable du laboratoire de simulation\, ainsi que des enseignants et des étudiants. \n  \nPr. Georges Nehme : Nous poursuivons l’excellence et l’évolution académique\nDans son discours\, le Recteur Pr. Georges Nehme a annoncé que l’Université La Sagesse célèbre\, en cette année jubilaire de son 150ᵉ anniversaire\, de nombreuses réalisations académiques. Il a souligné que l’université a obtenu en une seule année cinq accréditations internationales parmi les plus prestigieuses\, témoignant de sa notoriété croissante et des efforts constants entrepris pour atteindre l’excellence et suivre l’évolution académique. \nIl a précisé que cette accréditation du programme des sciences infirmières par le Hcéres fait suite à celle délivrée par l’Agence européenne d’assurance qualité FIBAA\, basée en Allemagne et membre du Réseau européen d’assurance qualité (ENQA)\, inscrite au Registre européen de l’assurance qualité (EQAR)\, pour les programmes de la Faculté de droit et de la Faculté d’économie et de gestion.\nLes programmes accrédités sont : la licence en droit\, le master en droit\, la licence en gestion\, le master professionnel\, et le master de recherche en gestion. \nLe recteur a également rappelé le renouvellement de l’accréditation de la Faculté de tourisme et de gestion hôtelière par l’EHL – École Hôtelière de Lausanne\, classée première école hôtelière au monde.\nDe plus\, la Faculté de droit canonique de l’université bénéficie d’un privilège exclusif\, étant accréditée par l’Institut Pontifical Oriental de Rome pour l’enseignement et la délivrance des diplômes en droit canonique. \nLe Pr. Nehme a conclu en affirmant que l’Université La Sagesse progresse selon une vision stratégique claire\, qui sera renouvelée au début de l’année prochaine par l’annonce d’un plan quinquennal 2026-2031\, après la réalisation de la plupart des objectifs de la précédente feuille de route 2021-2026\, tout en demeurant fidèle aux valeurs fondamentales de l’université : Liberté\, justice\, responsabilité sociétale et respect de la dignité humaine. \n  \nPr. Diala Khoury : Un point de départ ouvrant de nouvelles perspectives de développement et de recherche scientifique\nDans son intervention\, la Pr. Diala Khoury\, Doyen de la Faculté de santé publique\, a souligné que l’excellence est le fruit d’un travail collectif. DESCRIPTION:ندوة حوارية في جامعة الحكمة حول مفهوم الرجاء في الديانات التوحيدية:\nليس حكرًا على دين بل عطية كبرى للتلاقي على أسس التسامح والرحمة \nنظمت جامعة الحكمة ندوة حوارية حول “مفهوم الرجاء في الديانات التوحيدية” في إطار فعاليات السنة اليوبيلية 2025- حجّاج الرجاء، مما يعكس رسالة جامعة الحكمة منذ تأسيسها والقائمة على تعزيز مناخات العلم مع الحوار والإنفتاح للمحافظة على القيم الإنسانية والوطنية. \nشارك في الندوة الخوري الدكتور ميلاد عبود متخصص في اللاهوت الأخلاقي والعقائدي عميد شؤون الطلاب في جامعة الحكمة، الشيخ الأستاذ محمد حسن زراقط أستاذ الفقه والمعارف الإسلامية ومدير قسم البحوث في جامعة المصطفى العالمية، الدكتور أحمد الزعبي أستاذ الدراسات الإسلامية في معهد الآداب الشرقية (ILO) وفي معهد الدراسات الإسلامية والمسيحية (IEIC) في جامعة القديس يوسف في بيروت، البروفسور نهى ملاعب المتخصصة في تاريخ العالمين الإسلامي والمتوسطي (الأوروبي) السياسي والحضاري – الديني في العصور الوسطى، الأب إميل عقيقي المتخصص في الديانة اليهودية واللغة العبرية الحديثة والقديمة، وأدارها مرشد جامعة الحكمة الخوري جوزف نايل، وذلك بحضور ممثل راعي أبرشية بيروت للموارنة ووليّ جامعة الحكمة الخوري الدكتور ميلاد عبود، ممثل رئيس الجامعة نائبه للشؤون الأكاديمية الدكتور ريان هيكل، النائب البطريركي المطران أنطوان عوكر، أمين سر اللجنة الأسقفية للتعليم العالي والجامعي في مجلس البطاركة والأساقفة الكاثوليك الخوري جان بول أبو غزالة وحشد من الكهنة والراهبات وعائلة جامعة الحكمة من نواب الرئيس وعمداء وأساتذة وإداريين وطلاب. \nإلتقت الآراء على أن الرجاء ليس حكرًا على دين بل هو عطية إلهية لكل إنسان ويشكل قاعدة كبرى للتلاقي على أسس التسامح والرحمة، فالتجليات الإيمانية تنطلق من زوايا متقاربة إنما المهم توظيفها في إيجاد الحلول للأزمات الراهنة.\nوفي بادرة شكر، قدم نائب رئيس جامعة الحكمة للشؤون الإدارية إيلي أبي عاد دروعًا تكريمية للمحاضرين. \nالمفهوم الديني للرجاء\nبدأت الندوة بكلمة ترحيبية للخوري نايل قال فيها إن جامعة الحكمة تستضيف هذه الندوة تعبيرًا عن تمسكها برسالتها الوطنية والإنسانية الجامعة، لافتًا إلى أهمية تقديم خلاصة تجمع وتحقق التلاقي في هذا الزمن الذي يضج بالإنقسامات والحروب.\nوقد أكد الدكتور أحمد الزعبي أن “مقام الرجاء مقام عظيم وهو ترقب خير وأمل في الحصول عليه وهو الإمتلاء بالأمل لأجل المستقبل والعيش به لنيل المأمول”. أضاف أن “الرجاء هو سياحة دائمة في أفق السير إلى الله هربًا من الشرور واحتماء بالخيرات بجناحَي الإستغفار والدعاء. وقال الدكتور الزعبي إنه “على أسس محبة الخير والخوف من الشطط والرغبة في التلاقي والنفع والخير العام والتسامح قامت واحدة من أهم المبادرات الدينية في العصر الحديث وهي وثيقة الأخوة الإنسانية” عام 2019 داعيًا إلى استحضارها عشية الزيارة المرتقبة لقداسة البابا لاوون الرابع عشر إلى لبنان. \nوكذلك قال الشيخ محمد حسن زراقط إن “الرجاء باب من أبواب الإعتقاد بالله”، و”يمكن عدّ الرجاء فضيلة من الفضائل حسب الرؤية الإسلامية، وهي تقع بين رذيلتين تصنّفان في دائرة الكبائر هما اليأس من رحمة الله والأمن من مكر الله”. وترتبط بمفهوم الرجاء مفاهيم التوكل، الثقة بالله، وحسن الظن بالله، وقد فتح الله أبواب الرجاء من خلال الدعاء والتوبة، وهو الغفور الرحيم التوّاب الرزّاق الكريم. كما لفت الشيخ زراقط إلى أن الرجاء باب من أبواب العمل فالإنسان لا يمكن أن يقدم على عمل إلا عندما تكون جذوة الرجاء مشتعلة في نفسه ولولا الرجاء يتحول الإقدام على العمل إلى أمر عبثي. \nوأكدت البروفسور نهى ملاعب أن “الرجاء في التصوّر العرفاني الدرزي هو الواسطة الروحية بين المؤمن والرحمة؛ فكلّما صفا الرجاء من شوائب الخوف أو الطمع، إزداد السالك لله قابلية لتلقي الفيض الإلهي والرحمة”. وقالت “إن الهدف الذي ينبغي على الموحد السعي إليه في حياته هو بلوغ الرحمة بالرجاء”. وتابعت: “في هذا السياق كانت تعاليم أئمة الموحدين رحمة للمؤمنين، تخاطب ضمائرهم وتهديهم إلى الفضيلة. والفضيلة مشروع دائم في تعليم الموحدين الدروز، يفرض على الإنسان الإخلاص والمراقبة الذاتية الدائمة للنفس والإرتقاء بها إلى عالم المثل رجاء الفوز بمغفرة الله ورحمته”. \nمتحدثًا عن مفهوم الرجاء من المنظار اليهودي، قال الأب إميل عقيقي إن الرجاء في حياة اليهودي ليس مجرد نظرية بل هو واقع يحياه في خلال حياته في هذا العالم وتحمل الصلوات الفردية والجماعية اليهودية سمة الرجاء والتماس قيامة الأموات، كما التوبة إلى الله والثقة به إذ إن اليهود يؤمنون بأن رحمة الله وخلاصه يظهران في أصعب الظروف. \nوفي كلمته، قال الخوري الدكتور ميلاد عبود إن الرجاء المسيحي ليس يوتوبيا فهو الترقب الفرح مع أن حصول الكارثة غير مستبعد. والرجاء فضيلة وبه نرغب بملكوت الله والحياة الأبدية واضعين ثقتنا بمواعيد المسيح مستندين لا إلى قوتنا بل إلى الروح القدس. أضاف متابعًا: “أن نعيش الرجاء يعني أن نجسده في أعمالنا فنسهم في بناء ملكوت الله، ملكوت الحب والعدالة ونسهم في مكافحة كل من يحتقر كرامة الإنسان”. وأكد أن “قيامة المسيح تنقلنا من الحزن إلى الفرح ومن اليأس إلى الرجاء، لأن الذي قام من الموت هو الذي حُكم عليه ظلمًا وعُلّق على خشبة، فالقيامة هي رجاء وتصديق لقوة الله القاهرة للموت والظلم”. \n  \n \n \n         \n \n \n     \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:L’Université La Sagesse\, représentée par son recteur\, le professeur Georges Nehme\, a signé deux conventions : la première avec l’ambassade de France au Liban et l’organisation Œuvre d’Orient\, représentées respectivement par Mme Sabine Sciortino\, conseillère d’action et de coopération culturelle et directrice de l’Institut français du Liban\, et Mme Joséphine Robert\, chargée de projets humanitaire pour l’Œuvre d’Orient (Liban\, Syrie\, Jordanie) ; et la seconde avec l’Institut français du Liban\, représenté également par Mme Sciortino. \n  \nLa première convention\, renouvelée pour la quatrième année consécutive\, reconduit le soutien financier conjoint de l’Œuvre d’Orient et du ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères. Ce programme d’aide bénéficie à au moins deux cents étudiants inscrits dans des filières francophones\, sélectionnés selon des critères sociaux et économiques. \nLa deuxième convention entre l’Université La Sagesse et l’Institut français du Liban vise à faciliter l’obtention des diplômes officiels de langue française délivrés par le ministère de l’Éducation nationale français : le DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue française) et le DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française). Cet accord renforce ainsi la coopération académique et culturelle dans le cadre d’un partenariat privilégié entre l’Université La Sagesse et l’Institut français du Liban. \nLa cérémonie de signature s’est déroulée en présence de Mme Laurence Cossart\, attachée de coopération scientifique et universitaire à l’ambassade de France\, Mme Camille Legal\, directrice du centre de langues\, M. Ludovic Zmitrowicz\, attaché de coopération pour le français. \n  \nPr. Georges Nehme : « Nous sommes fiers de cette amitié et souhaitons ouvrir de nouveaux horizons de recherche à nos étudiants. » \nDans son allocution\, le professeur Nehme a souligné que ces deux accords traduisent des liens d’amitié et de respect profondément enracinés entre l’Université La Sagesse et la France. \nIl a exprimé sa reconnaissance pour le soutien constant de la France à l’enseignement supérieur au Liban\, rappelant qu’une délégation de l’université s’était récemment rendue à Paris pour y conclure plusieurs accords de coopération avec des partenaires et institutions françaises\, afin de développer les opportunités d’études avancées et de recherche scientifique pour les étudiants. \nLe recteur a également rendu hommage à Mme Sabine Sciortino\, qui achève sa mission au Liban après trois années de collaboration fructueuse et de soutien constant\, dans un contexte particulièrement délicat pour le pays. \n  \nMme Sciortino : Transformer les talents individuels en talents nationaux \nPour sa part\, Mme Sciortino a affirmé que ces deux conventions illustrent la volonté de l’ambassade de France de renforcer les partenariats avec les établissements d’enseignement supérieur libanais engagés dans des projets cohérents avec les priorités de la coopération franco-libanaise. \nElle a ajouté que « l’éducation de qualité n’est pas un luxe »\, et que le Liban regorge de talents individuels qu’il est essentiel de transformer en talents nationaux. \nElle a conclu en disant qu’elle quitte le Liban après y avoir découvert un peuple joyeusement obstiné\, saluant le courage\, la créativité\, la volonté de bâtir et la joie de vivre des Libanais. \n  \n  \n    \n

SUMMARY:SE.TC Trainings - Fall 2025
DESCRIPTION:Proud to share that we successfully completed the second SE.TC workshop with 40 entrepreneurship students from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Université La Sagesse. \nThis training is part of the SE.TC Erasmus+ project\, co-funded by the European Union\, and aims to strengthen the competencies of future social entrepreneurs in Lebanon. \nThroughout our sessions\, students explored key themes including marketing\, management\, partnerships\, financial sustainability\, and the operational models of social enterprises. \nWe were also honored to welcome two distinguished guests:\n\n– Maître Elie Karam\, who delivered an insightful session on the legal frameworks of social enterprises\n– Dr. Sandreen Hitti\, who led an engaging workshop on digital social entrepreneurship \n  \nA big thank-you to our students\, trainers\, and partners for their commitment and enthusiasm. \nWe look forward to the upcoming SE.TC trainings scheduled for Spring and Summer 2026! \n  \n  \n  \n   \n
