On Thursday, November 5, 2015, the Dean of the Sagesse Faculty of Business Administration, Prof. Rock-Antoine Mehanna, called for the Annual General Faculty meeting that was held at the Conference Room in the presence of the University’s President, Fr. Khalil Chalfoun, the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Fr. Dominique Labaki, the University’s Secretary General, Dr. Antoine Saad, the University’s Treasurer, Fr. Daniel Sarkis, the new Faculty Council, and all faculty members.  Dean Mehanna welcomed everyone and introduced the new University’s President and Vice President.   President Chalfoun discussed the University’s vision and mission and stressed on the importance of innovation and excellence in education to boost students’ horizons. He applauded the great achievements of the Faculty of Business and its highly recognized standards.   Then, Vice President Labaki introduced himself and talked on accreditation efforts.  Finally, Dean Mehanna thanked the speakers, announced the names of the new Faculty Council’s members, and laid out several instructions pertaining to academic, administrative, and logistic issues to advance the Faculty environment.  A positive and active “Questions & Answers” session was held between faculty members and the speakers that led to constructive proposals. Following the meeting, a reception was held, where it was an opportunity for everyone to network and socialize.
