As we know sport is important for people’s health and in our University, there is this team of determined girls who would do anything in the name of football.

Under the slogan ”𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐀 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲”, a Christmas girls one day tournament was organized by Al Nasr Club (7 players and a goalkeeper), with the participation of Hoops Beirut, 𝑺𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 (𝑼𝑳𝑺), North Lebanon Club a (NLC.a) North Lebanon Club b (NLC.b) in addition to the host team Al Nasr.

ULS Team are used to play in a different formation as in 4 players and a keeper, and to mention that this experience was their first. 
Therefore, ULS lost their first game against Hoops with a score of (0-2), but that didn’t stop them from going harder with the emotional support of their Coach Georges Rouhana and they fought with huge spirit in their second game where they came out as winners with a score of (3-2) against NLC.b.

Up to the semi-finals, the team combatted with all they had, they wanted
to make their coach and their University proud of their accomplishment
and that what happened when they scored 2 goals against NLC.a who is a first division team and who scored none.
The Teammates walked to the final against Hoops.
Even tho ULS Team didn’t have any rotation unlike the other team.
Unfortunately, the ULS Team lost in the last 10 minutes of the second half of the game against Hoops. 
So that’s how the Team ended up in the 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆.
